COMING SOON!!!

NOLA FOOD FEST 2025

Hi babes—Karen Brem here, your fabulously food-obsessed, party-ready Marketing Director at the now gloriously glow’d up Historic Mardi Gras Inn—and let me be the first to say it: It’s time to loosen that belt, book your weekend, and bring your appetite to the dancefloor.

Because NOLA Food Fest 2025 is cookin’ up the ultimate smorgasbord of flavors, beats, and borderline ridiculous fun, right in the heart of New Orleans. Mark your foodie calendars:

📍 Congo Square, 701 N Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70116
📅 Saturday, May 17, 2025
🕐 From 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Yes, darling, that’s seven hours of nonstop mouthgasmic joy. Over 40 of the best local and national restaurants, food trucks, cafes, and eateries are rolling in to feed you like the royalty you clearly are. Think crawfish egg rolls, smoked brisket tacos, vegan gumbo (because flavor is for everyone), and deep-fried things on sticks that will make your cardiologist weep but your soul scream “YASSSSS.”

And the food? That’s just the appetizer.

Expect live bands, DJs, games, contests, and prizes—because in New Orleans, we don’t just eat, we party while we chew. Whether you’re twerking with a beignet in hand or making eyes across the crawfish boil, this event has your name (and hot sauce) all over it.

Now let’s talk lodging, boo. You already know there’s no better place to crash after a day of food-induced ecstasy than right here at the Historic Mardi Gras Inn, now proudly LGBTQ+ owned and operated (snaps for inclusion, sugar). And honey, we didn’t just do a little facelift—we gave this inn a full-on Beyoncé Renaissance Tour glow-up.

Our charming inn is located just one short block outside the fabulous French Quarter, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the festival, take a little post-bite nap, and then strut right into the Quarter’s wild and wicked nightlife when the sun goes down and the real freakum dress comes out.

Want to walk off that extra helping of jambalaya? Congo Square is a short and scenic stroll away, or if your feet are protesting (no judgment, some of y’all are wearing platforms), there’s a streetcar stop just a two-minute walk from our front door that’ll roll you straight into flavor town.

And let’s be real—this ain’t just a quick in-and-out festival day. Oh no, darling. You’re gonna want to book a long stay weekend with us, so you can go full foodie beast mode Saturday and still have Sunday to hit up the Quarter, wander through live jazz shows, take a ghost tour, or kiss a stranger in a pirate hat. We don’t judge—we encourage.

The French Quarter at night is a whole different flavor—spicy, saucy, and soaked in good decisions (and maybe a little rum). Drag shows? Check. Rooftop cocktails? Check. Booty-shaking in the street to brass bands? Double check, and yes, your ex will be jealous when they see your stories.

Here at the Historic Mardi Gras Inn, we don’t promise the moon—just clean, affordable accommodations and a warm, welcoming staff who will treat you like the snack you are. Whether you’re coming solo, bringing your boo, or rolling in with your whole glitter-covered crew, we’re ready to serve hospitality hotter than the hot sauce on your fried oyster po-boy.

So what are you waiting for? BOOK THAT ROOM, BABY. This is your sign to come eat, dance, flirt, and feast like a legend at NOLA Food Fest 2025. Let your tastebuds lead the way, and let us be your home base for the ultimate New Orleans experience.

Come hungry. Leave happy. And remember—at the Historic Mardi Gras Inn, we don’t just host guests—we host legends.FOR MORE INFORMATION ON ACCOMMODATIONS CALL US DIRECTLY AT 504.949.5815 OR 1.800.209.9408. YOU MAY ALSO VISIT US ONLINE AT historicmardigrasinn.com.

See you May 17th. Until then, keep it spicy. 🌶️🍤🍾
