Every Labor Day weekend, New Orleans transforms into a glitter-soaked, high-heeled, feathered fantasy land known as Southern Decadence—and the Bourbon Street Extravaganza is its sparkling crown jewel. This year’s celebration kicks off on Saturday, August 30th, at 6:30 p.m., and baby, you’ll want to be there early because when the music starts, the energy blasts through the Quarter like a hurricane of joy (minus the storm shutters).
